Literature

A Fish Called Martha or: Who's Really Afraid of H. P. Lovecraft Anyway?

Director: Debora Roventini.
It's out of the frying pan and into George and Martha's rumpus room for a night of supernatural mambo jumbo when young H.P. and his slim-hipped wife, fleeing a monster of cosmic proportions, seek refuge on the campus of the infamous Miskatonic University in this outrageous parody of things Lovecraft and Hollywood.

Siren Song

Film by Swoon (Music, voice & videotreats) with the words of Margaret Atwood's poem 'Siren Song' as a guideline. A story about the eternal male female attraction. How any man (complete with wife and children) can get lost. Or is it a story of regret? About the impossibility to undo all actions you make.

If  John Wayne is up there watching from the Great Beyond in the Sky over Berlin, he must be truly gritting his teeth to see a younger Good Ole Boy, name o' Jeff Bridges, reaping the kudos and leading the pack into Potsdamer Platz on opening night, while wearing the same black eye-patch Wayne did in the original version of this gritty All-American western. Of course, Big John did pick up an Oscar for his turn as Rooster Cogburn, the alcoholic, one-eyed, straight-shooting lawman, back in 1969...
