Explorers and filmmakers Jean-Christophe Jeauffre and Frédéric Dieudonné founded the Jules Verne Aventures team in 1991, in Paris. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to Exploration, Conservation and Education.

Jules Verne Adventures evolved from the dreams of our childhood-dreams of extraordinary voyages; dreams of a better world; dreams, even, of a better mankind. This quest began 19 years ago, nourishing our passion for the Earth and restoring our faith in humanity.
