Dedeler En Iyisini Bilir (Grandpas Know Best)

Director: Director.
When Ali's father hires a new secretary, she awakens desires in Ali that the shy 22 year old never knew he had. But working for his father, his mother reminding him he's the right age to marry, and trying to be a good Muslim complicates things. Now he must choose between family duty and true love. Can you really make yourself and your family happy at the same time?

Defining Beauty: Ms. Wheelchair America

Director: Alexis Ostrander.
DEFINING BEAUTY: MS. WHEELCHAIR AMERICA is an inspiring feature length documentary narrated by Katey Sagal, which follows the vibrant lives of five women on their journey to the 2010 Ms. Wheelchair America pageant. For 37 years, Ms. Wheelchair America has showcased the astounding accomplishments of hundreds of women, yet it has gone largely unnoticed by the general public—until now. Life in a wheelchair has often been defined as one of limitation, loneliness and unfulfilled dreams; however, the women showcased in this film demonstrate that their chairs do not confine nor define them. These remarkable contestants and the reigning Ms. Wheelchair America give us a unique glimpse into their lives as we follow them to Nationals in South Dakota as they compete for the crown. As in a traditional beauty pageant, Ms. Wheelchair America strives to show the inherent beauty in women while also competing on the pillars of ‘advocacy, achievement, communication and presentation to select the most accomplished, articulate spokesperson for individuals with disabilities.’ These women (who are mothers, students, athletes, and social activists) challenge themselves daily to live life beyond their limitations and in turn demonstrate to the world that true beauty is encompassed in a desire to succeed, a dedication to serve others, and the will to live life on your own terms.

DELIVERED

Director: Michael Madison.
Driven by a promise, fueled by revenge. Inspired by Bullitt, True Romance and Vanishing point, the Mojave desert is the backdrop for this heartfelt story of betrayal and redemption. An ecclectic collection of unique characters that include Japanese gangsters, an Italian proctologist, an Armenian art dealer and a hero with a very cool car set the stage for this modern crime thriller shot on RED and edited on CS4 with a totally tapeless workflow. The top notch cast includes Toshi Toda, Robert Rusler, Alana Stewart and Brian Mcguire.Check out the iinterviews with the cast, behind the scenes videos and hundreds of stills shot during production here on Facebook. Make sure to watch the trailer in 1080p.   You can see the trailer at:  http://www.vimeo.com/11069907

DER FÜRSORGER (THE WELFARE WORKER)

Director: Lutz KONERMANN.
Welfare worker Hans-Peter Stalder possesses the secret code to happiness: a money-multiplying strategy which promises incredible wealth to its hand-picked investors and a subsequent life of leisure and luxury. There’s only one downside to his story: it’s entirely made up of lies and the only one who really benefits from it is Stalder himself. For thirteen years the notorious conman and womanizer fools his guileless victims and tricks the authorities, embezzling millions and taking women’s hearts by storm. But when a stupid mistake trips him up, the time has come for confession – big-time confession.

Director: tomas baltazar.
17 ', HD, colour A barefoot emerging from the aseptic conventions walks to find freedom. In a road into solitude. Looking for a place that is not his, but where he belongs to it. The barefoot walks in a journey to reconstruct himself.

Desperation

Director: Jeff Freeman.
"DESPERATION" is the story of Ricky Romano (Beau Yotty), a man pushed to the edge with life's current situation. After losing all hope, he makes a decision that will change the rest of his life. Ricky breaks into the home of Scott (Steven Brack) and Linda Walsh (Barbie Castro) and takes them hostage. The three characters are taken through an intense emotional roller coaster.

DETENTION

Director: Aden Shillito.
A school boy struggles to expose the suspicious behavior of the one-eyed caretaker at his primary school, only to find that life is vastly more complex than he could ever have imagined. When Nick Atley sees his school caretaker at the school after hours his suspicion is aroused - what is the man up to? In his efforts to discover the truth the boy goes have the quiet boy of his class to being the subject of concern given his odd behaviour. Faced being disbelieved at every turn, the boy steals a key and by night accesses the school cellar where the caretaker works, finding both an alien presence and the involvement of other school staff. While the invaders plans are thwarted, their exposure is concealed and Nick is left to wonder if he might not have imagined everything he has seen after all.

DETROIT, WILD CITY

Director: Florent Tillon.
The automobile industry jumpstarted Detroit’s rise and made it the most industrialized city in the United States. But because of changes in American society and population demographics, the city lay deserted for decades and urban prairies complete with falcon, deer and coyote turning out the urban landscape in a B movie setting. Now an unexpected turn of events has created an environment where young people are moving back into the ruins of the former Detroit... are they a new kind of pioneer? Could this now be a way for America to be “rediscovered”?
