About the Director: 

Born in Porto at 30/07/1977, Tomás Baltazar graduated in Sound & Image, specializing in Direction, at the School of Arts of Catholic University of Porto. Conducts postgraduate studies at the School Septima Ars in Madrid, in editing for film and video. Collaborates as editor on projects for directors who belong to the new generation of portuguese cinema. Descalço is his first shortfilm as director, waned the RTP2: Onda Curta award in the Festival Cinema Luso Brasileiro de Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, Dec. 2010.
