Austin Film Festival is Looking for Interns and Apprentices

INTERNSHIPS & APPRENTICESHIPS

QUALIFICATIONS

Each department has different qualifications. Please carefully review below all the jobs available before selected the position you feel best suits you. ALL INTERNSHIPS AND APPRENTICESHIPS ARE NON-PAID, but have outstanding benefits!

All internship applicants are required to provide proof of their internship requirements for school.

What is the difference between an internship vs. an apprenticeship?

  • An internship is any official or formal program that provides practical experience in an occupation or profession.  It is done in exchange for school credit (usually as a graduation requirement) from an accredited college or university.
  • An apprenticeship is an opportunity to learn a trade or gain experience in a desired field. An apprentice could be a student, recent graduate, or someone looking to change career paths.

Both internships and apprenticeships consist of a regular weekly work schedule within a particular AFF department and are designed to expand participants professional knowledge and experience. Apprenticeships, unlike internships, are not for official school credit.

For questions about the internship and apprenticeship programs, or for more information on specific departments, please call 512-478-4795 or email info@austinfilmfestival.com.
