I hope that all is well with you.
It has been a fruitful couple of weeks at HawkMedia Studios. Two of our short animation films are official selections at THREE international film festivals.
MOTHER EARTH – from the womb to the tomb – AN ANIMATION FILM is an official selection of the Warsaw Animation Film Festival in Warsaw, POLAND.
PLUS AND MINUS CREATION – AN ANIMATION FILM is an official selection of the BUEIFF film festival in Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA.

The documentary is telling the Rojava Revolution, with stories of Assyrian, Kurdish, Arabic people. This people are subjected to the ISIS attacks, on the other hand they are trying to build a communal system like democratic autonomy. This struggle is not easy in a region like Syria, where the war continues and showing the effects on people’s life.
For 23 years, the Associació de Naturalistes de Girona has attempted to
show the best images of our natural environment through the photography.
Static images that show us the strength and the fragility of our planet
of the hand of the best photographers, professional as well as
enthusiastic. Now, conscious of the creative capacities of the
participants, we turn on a new stage. From the ANG we want to invite you
to a new adventure, an adventure that has to show us the problems, the
victories, the dangers and the hopes of our environment in short
audiovisual format.
When we talk about environment, we mean
everything that happens in this thin layer where the human being is
related to their environment and other species, in short, where life
reaches its maximum. With the aim of showing the whole range of problems
and wonders, has born the Girona Festival Shorts environmental
SOMCURTS. A festival that should allow us to travel to the soul of the
earth.

EARTH VISION-Tokyo Global Environmental Film Festival is annually held in Tokyo since 1992. Our theme is global environmental issue. We are accepting film entry all over the world.
Within the Water Lies Death...and Life
We are all made of water, it brings us life. It can also bring death. Every so often, someone dies in the ocean, rivers, lakes…and sometimes, they return. They appear to those who knew them, only for a short time, then disappear again. They do not speak, they observe. No one knows why they return, whether it is to feel, to see, to experience, to live again, or whether they just became a part of the greater living entity, the water itself. All we know is that these events have been occurring for a long time.
