Congratulations to the Rockie Awards International Program Competition nominees

We are pleased to announce 152 incredible programs, representing 22 countries and selected from entries submitted from 45 countries, are vying for this year's top honours across 30 categories in BANFF's flagship competition recognizing excellence in global screen content.

Screen clips from all nominated shows HERE and meet the nominees at the Banff World Media Festival this June.

This year, for the first time, the prestigious BANFF Gala Awards and the Rockie Awards International Program Competition will unite in a single, must-attend event.

“This will be a spectacular night celebrating the industry’s most influential leaders alongside the world’s top creative talent — all in one room, under one roof." said Jenn Kuzmyk, Executive Director of the Banff World Media Festival.

The Rockie Awards esteemed Grand Jury determines the coveted Grand Jury Prize, selected from the top-scoring programs across the entire field of nominees.

The Rockies main jury includes 150+ senior international professionals representing the entertainment and media industry's most influential players, including the world's top studios, streamers and production companies.

Special honours to be bestowed this year:

Rogers Prize for Excellence in Canadian Content

Thanks to Rogers' generous support year after year, $25,000 in cash will be awarded to the producer(s) of the top-scoring Canadian entry. Highlighting the best independently, Canadian-created entertainment content, this award serves to foster domestic talent and invest in future content development from independent producers.

Prix Francophone

Awarded to the jury’s highest-scoring French-language video submission.

This year’s lineup also introduces two new categories - Best Performance in a Drama and Best Performance in a Comedy - which recognize outstanding recurring performances in a scripted comedic and dramatic series.
