Alex Quiroga dirige 'Ilusiones rotas 11M' la primera película de ficción sobre los atentados de Madrid MADRID, 19 (EUROPA PRESS) Alex Quiroga dirige la primera película de ficción sobre los atentados del 11-M. Bajo el título de 'Ilusiones rotas 11-M', Quiroga construye cuatro pequeñas historias audiovisuales truncadas por la irrupción de un atentado. El film se estrena el próximo viernes 28 de octubre en los cines de toda España. Rodada íntegramente en Madrid, la película refleja cuatro las esperanzas y frustaciones de cuatro vidas diferentes. Una empleada de hogar, que ha venido a España desde Ecuador, para poder ayudar a su familia. Un inmigrante que busca una oportunidad en nuestro país. Un estudiante de teatro que ha pasado por muchos castings sin éxito, pero que por fin un día, consigue su gran oportunidad. Y por último, un ama de casa maltratada por su marido, que anhela comenzar una nueva vida lejos del horror doméstico. "He querido transmitir la idea de que nunca es tarde para buscar otra vida, que siempre es mejor empezar de cero que arrastrar situaciones intolerables", explicó Quiroga, quien creó estas historias a partir de las informaciones aparecidas en los medios de comunicación. 'Ilusiones rotas 11M' es el primer largometraje de ficción sobre el 11M, y lo protagonizan Lilian Caro (Los 80, Hospital Central, El Comisario,), Teresa Hurtado de Ori (Nadie es perfecto, Astronautas), Jemmi Paretas (Sucedió en España, Bomba de relojería), Laia Alemany (Fausto 5.0), Carlos Nieto Balboa (Sucedió en España, Héctor,), Lilian Caro, Fina Mayo, Manuel Bocanegra, Felix Ortiz, Jesús Sarmiento, Nidal Hosaini y Abd Al Sammadd. Crítica BUSCANDO A EMMA

Crítica El director y guionista, Alex Quiroga, nos presenta su último trabajo “Buscando a Emma”. El cineasta que nos impacto con “Ilusiones rotas”, el largometraje sobre el 11M, ahora nos adentra en una misteriosa historia llena de intrigas y suspense. Ambientada en la actualidad de nuestro país, esta nueva propuesta narra la historia de una joven de origen británico, que tras un accidente de coches pierde la memoria. Al despertar en el hospital la acompaña Julia, una antigua compañera de estudios, que la protege celosamente de la frenética búsqueda iniciada a su alrededor. Emma tendrá que intentar recobrar su verdadera identidad pero también deberá descubrir que nada ni nadie es lo que parece. Una película donde destaca el argumento no solo por su inteligencia sino por mantener hasta el final la duda en el espectador de que es lo que sucederá. Un suspense que se acerca mucho al de las grandes producciones norteamericanas pero que en este caso tiene mucho más valor por tratarse de cine independiente español. Copyright © Uno 2007.

CRÍTICA"Sucedió en España"

Alex Quiroga, el joven director novel español se encarga de crear cuatro historias tituladas en conjunto "Sucedió en España" donde se toca la comedia, el suspense, el drama y el terror. Escrita y producida por él mismo, la película está basada en hechos reales, noticias que en su día ocuparon las páginas de sucesos y conmocionaron a la opinión pública. "Sucedió en España", se estrenó el día 16 de noviembre en el Festival de Cine Iberoamericano de Huelva.El film, que cuenta con el apoyo del Festival de San Sebastián para proyectos en desarrollo, llegó a las carteleras el día 19 de Noviembre. Cuatro historias diferentes entrelazadas a través del encuentro casual de sus protagonistas en la ciudad y contadas entre la ironía y el drama. Rodada íntegramente en España, con historias que tienen una parte de realidad, y es que el director se ha basado en noticias leídas años atrás para darles forma y crear pequeñas historias audiovisuales que se titulan, por separado, "El arte de arriesgarse" (comedia), "El ganchero" (suspense), "Marisa" (drama) y "Consecuencia" (terror). Muestra una película diferente a cualquier otra que se haya podido ver antes, tanto por el tratamiento de la historia como por el modo en que se desarrolló el rodaje. La película se ha rodado con un presupuesto de 240.000 euros. La obra, basada en sucesos reales que en su día conmocionaron a la opinión pública, mezcla, de manera cruda e inteligente, comedia, sexo, horror y muerte, suspense, amor y drama, enlazando entre sí cuatro relatos distintos. Los personajes consiguen implicar al espectador en las historias de principio a fín, personajes como con Eva Cobos,María Isasi, Manuel Andrés, Daniel Freire, Vicente Mora, Manuel Espin, Alberto Vázquez, Manuel Roldán, Carlos Nieto Balboa, Julio Jordán, Leopoldo Ballesteros y Maria Santos hacen posible este excelente largometraje. La caracterización de esta película lo que tiene es que, hay tres o cuatro actores que repiten personajes,como en el caso de Eva Cobos. Empieza con una persecución, luego se va a la comisaría, aparece con las manos quemadas. Él contesta "Yo no sé nada, yo no sé nada", y ahí es cuadno empieza con inserto de flash-back y de preguntas y respuestas ocurre una reacción un poco fuerte porque, a medida que vas descubriendo, te encuentras con el brutal asesinato de un travesti, de un indigente, de un cura... Tras el estreno de "Sucedió en España", Alex Quiroga continúa con el rodaje de "Ilusiones Rotas". La finalización del rodaje está prevista para diciembre. Una película muy diferente y que hay que verla.

A requiem of illusions Spanish cinema remembers for the first time the Madrid terrorist attacks of the 11th of March. Alex Quiroga's Ilusiones Rotas 11-M (Broken Illusions) reflects the hopes and the frustrations of four characters living very different lives in the months before the attacks, until the fatal day, when they are all touched by the same tragedy. The film opens today in seven Spanish cities, distributed by Pirámide Films. Flirting with a documentary style, Ilusiones Rotas 11-M was shot in high-definition digital video and combines the narration of the characters' experiences with real sequences from the attacks. According to the director, his work is not politically committed; he prefers "exploring territories of the reality which interest me. I do the kind of cinema I like to watch".
