Sundance Institute announced today 19 members of five juries awarding prizes at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Short Film Awards will be announced at a ceremony on January 22 at Park City’s Jupiter Bowl, with feature film awards announced at a separate ceremony on January 26.

Flicks International Student Short Film Festival
On 13, 14 and 15 March 2013, the fourth annual Flicks International Student Short Film Festival will take place in the lovely city of Groningen, the Netherlands. This festival, organized by students, promises to be a highlight for film buffs and film makers everywhere.
The festival will showcase short films of film academy students, film school students and other young film makers from around the world. Various themes and genres will be presented, so be surprised!
Flicks wants to provide film students and aspiring film makers the opportunity to show their work for a diverse audience: an audience that wants to be indulged by a great variety of short films. Prepare to be amazed by the early works of the great film makers of tomorrow.

The 2nd East Doc Platform (EDP) edition is the largest Central and East European documentary event held March in Prague, 2013, organized by the Institute of Documentary Film. It is the meeting point for 120 East European filmmakers and producers who seek creative, financial and distribution support, and more than 70 key international festival programmers, commissioning editors, buyers, distributors, sales agents, film fund and organization representatives who will be able to choose from some of the most promising films and projects in Central and Eastern Europe.The event is organized by the Institute of Documentary Film In association with the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival
East Doc Platform draws from the unique representation of key international documentary professionals who are, in non-exclusive setting, available for informal meetings to every participant as well as accredited observers.
