Grossmann Film and Wine Festival 2010: Dates & Call for Entries!

Attention all lovers of wild and cult cinema, divine wine and bloody beautiful music! The 6th Grossmann Film and Wine festival is approaching, so make time for vacation, sharpen your film tastes, and prepare your dancing shoes, zombie masks and taste buds! Slovenia’s biggest film-wine event will strike like thunder from a stormy sky on the last week of July, precisely from 26th to 31st of July, of course in the town of Ljutomer, the birthplace of Slovenian cinema.

Once again you will be subjected to an irresistible film-wine treat, accompanied by an enormously rich music program. More information and details about our program will be published timely on the official festival page, starting this week! This time we'd like to announce that the submissions to short film and music documentary competition are now open, all info is available here.

Filmmakers can apply in our regular categories: Slak's Vicious Cats, dedicated to short genre films, and Noisy Cats, dedicated to music documentaries. This year we also introduce The Subculture Fair that will take place on 30th and 31st of July at the Main Square in Ljutomer. Our call for collaboration and attendance goes out to everyone who wants to sell movie DVDs, music, comics and all other forms of subculture art during the festival.
