Script Competition
Submissions for the ÉCU 2011 Script Competition is OPEN!
ÉCU, The European Independent Film Festival, is pleased to be hosting its fourth Much More than a Script Competition.
As part of the ÉCU 2011 film festival, the script competition’s focus
is on independent screenplays, that is, scripts that aren’t aimed at
mainstream Hollywood film markets.
Writers are invited to submit their
short and feature-length scripts to the competition where they compete
for the best script of the festival. Scenes from the winning
feature-length script are given a dramatic live reading at the film
festival, which will take place in Paris in April 2011. The winners from
both categories will also receive a script coverage package courtesy of
ScriptShark.

Les inscriptions pour leConcours de Scénario sont ouvertes !
ÉCU, le Festival du Film Indépendant Européen, est heureux
d’organiser son quatrième Concours de scénarios: Bien plus qu’un
scénario. Partie intégrante du festival de film ÉCU 2011, le concours de
scénarios concerne les réalisations indépendantes, c’est-à-dire les
scénarios qui ne sont pas destinés au marché grand public hollywoodien.
Les scénaristes sont invités à soumettre leurs scénarios (pour courts
et longs métrage) dans le cadre d’un concours destiné à désigner le
meilleur scénario du festival. Des scènes du scénario gagnant feront
l’objet d’une lecture théâtrale lors du festival, qui aura lieu à Paris
en avril 2011. Les lauréats des deux catégories recevront également un
coffret d’assistance et de perfectionnement d’écriture de scénario
offert par ScriptShark.
