Face Lift

Director: Pierre Yves Clouin.

Facing Berlin

Director: Shaune Bordere.

Within ten days of the inauguration of American President John F. Kennedy, he delivers his first State of the Union Address to the world on Communism, the economy and his strategies to prepare the military for the Cold War on January 30, 1961. By June 4th, President Kennedy visits Vienna to meet with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev in an attempt to resolve the West Berlin conflict that began during President Dwight Eisenhower's administration. Diplomatic relations further deteriorate and President Kennedy returns to the United States with an increasingly tense level of Communist aggression to solace. Khrushchev quietly plans the construction of the Berlin Wall to force East Germans to remain in the Soviet occupied Eastern Bloc state. President Kennedy provides constant reinforcements to protect democracy and rebuild the economy in West Berlin. In 1963, President Kennedy returns to West Berlin to deliver one of his most emphatic Cold War messages for millions of people to hear.

Failed Scenario

Director: Kristina Sereikaite, Linas Mikuta.
The plot talks about a lonely timid woman who works in a low-end inn. When a happy couple accidentally leaves a purse at the table, the inn busser can't resist the temptation to check its contents. There she finds intriguing evidence of crime, but runs out of time to inspect it since the criminal himself rushes into the toilet to catch her in the act. The scene turns dramatic, but is all the way it looks to be? Genre: illusory drama with thriller elements

FAKE

Farewell Baghdad

Director: Mehdi Nadi Najaf Abadi.
"Daniel Dalka", after losing in a boxing game, just only for 50 thousand dollars; kills one of the persons who wagers. And for escaping the mafia nowhere is safer than the US army. But in this time the first balls of war are shot in Iraq, meanwhile "Saleh" is ready for his wedding party.

FATHER ARSENIE

Director: Svetlana Cemin.

Recently transferred from Monastary Dečani, after 28 years living as a monk, Father Arsenie, Belgradian, a cult figure from the ’80-is, is now engaged in restoring and creating a spiritual and cultural center in the Monastery of Ribnica, near Mionica, central Serbia, which had been destroyed by the Turks in the 19th century. By reminiscing about his complex past, Father Arsenie takes us into his daily life: the scenes intertwine with his daily activities as a monk; prayer, service and culturing Orthodoxy come first. Father Arsenie is also a very talented painter, writer, and sculptor, so as we listen to his answers to questions on faith and finding love for god, we also discover his artistic creativity. We learn of when and how he had found his meaning of life through Orthodoxy and complete dedication to the spiritual life as we hear about his transformation in New York, where he lived as a young man. This intimate portrait of a contemporary, unusual monk with a higher cause is accompanied by just as vivid, unlimited beauty of nature in the landscapes that surround the Monastery of Ribnica. Filmed in New York and Ribnica 2018-2019.

FEARLESS

Director: Nishanthi Evani.

A confident, independent woman who tells her friend “I can take care of myself” while shooting pictures at a slum is caught in the middle of riots and her real fearlessness gets challenged. FEAR L E S S is about the innate mistrust and skepticism we carry with us despite our best efforts at being evolved.
