About the Producer:
<p>Alexia Melocchi has a successful career in the international marketplace, previously both a sales agent and buyer’s rep for eleven territories, giving her diverse exposure to all types of films and functions in the entertainment industry. As consultant and producer she works on packaging films, securing co productions and arranging for US and International Distribution of several projects of her clients using her expertise in international sales, pre-sales, international acquisitions and a global film marketing approach.</p>
<p>Alexia is fluent in five languages and in her client list are Italian film makers Andrea Lodovichetti and Marco Delal Fonte, International best- seller author Valerio Manfredi (ALEXANDER at Universal and THE LAST LEGION released by the Weinstein Company), Emmy nominee writer Anton Diether (MOBY DICK miniseries) , Extreme Make Over producer Jay Hix Jones to name a few.She recently produced the film STEALING ROSES starring John Heard, Bruce Davison, Cindy Williams and Josie Davis which recently won Best Film, Best Actor and Best Actress at the LA Comedy Film Festival and is screening at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and "ICE SCREAM" produced together with Christian Halsey Solomon and Marco Colombo and starring Spencer Treat Clark, Laura Harring, Wade Williams, Patrick Mapel, Noel Coet, Zach Cumar and Brendan Miller.<br />
Through LITTLE STUDIO FILMS, she is currently attached in a producer capacity to several projects including the feature film “WOODY, CISCO& ME” a biopic on legendary folk singer Woody Guthrie to be directed by Mimi Leder (“The Peacemaker”), the action thriller “BUSTIN PALERMO” with producer Marty Katz, the sci fi thriller “INVASION” to be directed by Mick Garris as a co production with client Magic City Pictures, and "GALLEON" as a co production with client Pitcher Point Productions.</p>
Film synopsis:
<p>The true story of a former Canadian NHL pro player who became on of Canada's most prolific marijuana exporter into the US. Busted on US soil, he was imprisoned and lost all his rights to visit the country and see his American born daughter.<br />

Once released he embarks on a journey into South East Asia to seek the meaning of happiness and do a lot of humanitarian work. The movie is about his travel and the people he meets along the way, his contributions to charities and groups, as well as some great inspirational advise and real miracles that will truly move you when you watch it.<br />
