FILMFEST HAMBURG is a yearly international festival in 5 venues. The sections of this Northern German festival are: Agenda, Eurovisuell, Made-For-TV Movies, Nordlichter (Northern Lights), Voilà, Deluxe, Vitrina and Michel Children`s und Youth Film Fest.
Festival for short films.
Programms: German Competition, European Panorama, Danmark, Found Footage, Shortfilms for kids
About 150 international films will meet the extraordinary Hamburg audience and run for several competitions: Best Short Film (gay/lesbian/transgender); Best full length German/European/International/Documentary Film).
3D animations, VFX-driven films, Machinimas, films for mobile devices etc. can be submitted for the competition. Voting via viral process on the Net. Prize money: 10000 Euros.
"Kurzfilmfunk Hamburg - Berlin" offers young filmmakers living in these cities a platform on which they can present their works.
