A provincial photographer is traveling from one Siberian village to another taking 35x45 mm passport photos of the villagers. Thanks to a large number of clients and profound observation of countryside life the films turns into poetic story about world-view of people living in remote areas at the cross-roads of two cultures, of Soviet and modern Russian ones.
