Fantasy Film Festival Programme

Well, in-between zombie administration, its taken me a lot of thought over the weekend to come up with my ‘Fantasy Film Festival’ programme - plus I don’t think that title should change either (despite the porn film festival connotations)!

It would be a three day long film festival. The opening night would start around 9.00pm with a premiere of an auteurs new feature film (Ok maybe not Tarantino’s new one or maybe it could be, since we’re in fantasy world now…) The midnight slot would feature a new cutting edge horror film. The next day would be devoted to fresh – yet crucially, different – independent film of all different gernes, from around the world. The final day would have one or two stunning foreign language films, a challenging documenatry and a retrospective in the afternoon around 4.00pm-5.00pm (something tells me that Pulp Fiction would fit in quite nicely with this programme so far) then the closing film would be a premiere of another autuer’s new film (Obviously not QT’s, but I hear that Machete 2 is in development…  )

I would of course need to wear a different dress for each day of the festival and that would take some thought as I’d need to consdier length, colour, which shop etc - in fact a task like this would probably as long as it took to design this programme…
