Sensoria Date Announcement & Call for Submissions

Sensoria, the UK’s festival of film, music & digital, will be back for 9 days of fun and festivities from 21 – 29 April 2012. The festival’s admissions in 2011 rose from 4,000 – 10,000 and 2012, our 5th birthday edition, will be bigger and better than ever.

Sensoria’s guests have included Bill Drummond, Jarvis Cocker, Feargal Sharkey, Nitin Sawhney, Mark Kermode, John Robb, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jon McClure, British Sea Power, Julien Temple and many more. Events have taken place across the city at venues including a hairdressers, a 1960s Hotel Ballroom, Sheffield Central Library, guerilla-style projections around the city, Sheffield Law Courts, Sheffield Cathedral and an underwater music system in a swimming pool.

Call For Entries

Sensoria is now looking for exciting new work in the realms of film, music and digital – this can include fiction features or short films with an innovative soundtrack or score, music related biopics, music documentary and truly exceptional music video. Films should have been completed after 2009.

There is no submission fee.

Film/music submissions should include a DVD, short synopsis, two production stills and full contact details and arrive no later than 14 November at the following address:
