We are now accepting submissions for the 6^th annual Minneapolis Underground Film Festival.

The Minneapolis Underground Film Festival- MUFF gives voice to hidden filmmakers and their buried gems. Our mission is to highlight artists, entertain our audiences and inspire filmmakers to create original work.

About the Festival

Sponsored and Hosted by the Film Society of Minneapolis, St. Paul at St. Anthony Main Theater, to showcase independent cinema’s most provocative and original work.   Selected filmmakers will be on hand for an audience Q&A after their screenings. We will also feature an informal filmmaker lounge where audience members can interact with filmmakers from around the world. This year’s Underground Film Festival will featuring standout local, national and international films, a outdoor screening and an after-party featuring local bands and DJ’s.

Awards include Largest Audience, Best Soundtrack, Cinematography, Short Film, Editing, Experimental, Documentary, Best Feature, Audience Choice awards and MN Made. This year any filmmaker who sells out a screening will be awarded a percentage of the screening profits!
