Multiple Sessions
On the heels of the upcoming HollyShorts Film Festival which takes
place August 11-18 in Hollywood, the festival's organizers are unleashing the
inaugural HollyShorts Indie Film Summit, a week-long conference that will
feature marquee panels, seminars, presentations and events for filmmakers and
executives. The HSFF Indie Film Summit will take place in various locations
throughout Los Angeles. The core of the sessions will take place at the
Mondrian Hotel and the Showbiz Store and Cafe will also host multiple panels.
Participating companies include executives from Lionsgate, Relativity,
Shorts International, Freestyle, FilmLA, DigitalLA, Freestyle, Gersh, IM
Global, Route 1 Films, Movieola, International Cinematographer's Guild ICG,
Institute For International Film Financing (IIFF), Eventful, Film
Closings, and more! Topics range from Short Film Distribution, Theatrical
Distribution, Filming in LA, Film Financing, new technologies to fund
productions, and social media marketing to name a few.
