leslie vanderpool
Leslie Vanderpool is one of the most respected ladies in the Bahamas and well loved by the people and embraced by all of the people in the field. I read the remark by Anne and Mark M. and I am appalled by their remarks, it is truly a sign of underlying jealousy and ignorance, dont let people of this nature discourage you because that is all that they are out to do, unfortunately they are neglecting to realize that the Bahamas is a small country of about 350K population and not Cannes, L.A. or New York. Leslie keep up the good work, you have brought something to the Bahamas that never existed and the Bahamians all appeciate what you are doing on your part for our little country. You have a gold mine there and keep up the great work. The festivals are awesome!!!!! Michael

Hi Leslie -
Thanks for sharing your interview with Bruno as well as this very informative website. Cheers to you and Cinema in Paradise. I'm surfing in from Cocoa Beach, Florida. Congratulations on your 4th year as creator of The Bahamas "Cannes" Festival. You're MAGIC - Always - Milly
BIFF - Bahamas Int'l Film Fest - Great Fest!
My film screened last year @ BIFF and I had the BEST time attending. Leslie and her staff truly treat every film and filmmaker like royalty. Even the small films, like mine, were cared for. Oh yes did I forget to mention it's in the Bahamas! Gorgeous surroundings! MarQ
