The 45th annual Dance on Camera Festival (February 3 – 7, 2017), co-presented by Dance Films Association and the Film Society of Lincoln Center, announces its call for submissions for dance films of all genres and lengths beginning July 15, 2016.

 

Dance on Camera Festival remains the longest-running dance film festival in the world, providing a platform for choreographic storytelling and creative expression, and intimate access to innovative media artists and their cinematic works. Each February in New York City, the Festival presents feature-length documentary and narrative films, inventive short films, filmmaker panels and special events, cutting edge media and art installations, as well as engaging community and student programs. Dance Films Association and the Film Society of Lincoln Center have co-presented the Festival since 1996, hosting screenings and special events at the Walter Reade Theater, with the addition of the Film Society’s landmark state-of-the-art Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center in 2012.
