BuBiFeszt is the Budapest Bicycle Festival. It's not just a film festival; it's a big fiesta with concerts, exhibitions, races, and workshops. Budapest is the "capital" of the Critical Mass movement (60,000 participants in 2008), and cycle chic in Europe. Only 10 years ago the city was very dangerous for cyclists: only cycle-messengers would dare to ride the streets. But the enthusiastic crowd made this beautiful city a good place to ride. BuBiFeszt is not only about urban cycling: it's an open film festival for all kinds of films, theatre and art; civil worksops and charity projects - all about cycling.
