BIFF is renowned for its lively and festive atmosphere, which encourages a spirit of camaraderie among all attendees. BIFF serves as a foundation for inspiration and unity, bringing together filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts.

BIFF also provides valuable networking opportunities for filmmakers, along with the amenities expected of a leading international festival. These resources help foster professional connections and further enhance the festival experience.

The BIFF Screenwriter's Residency Program is a game changer. Aspiring writers, A-List Producers & Writers on an island with the sole focus of taking the screenwriter's work to the next level. Rarely do writers get to experience such an in-depth program. A must for any serious and aspiring screenwriter.

The Bahamas International Film Festival is dedicated to providing the local community and International visitors with a diverse presentation of films from around the world. educational programs, and forums for exploring the future of cinema.

BIFF’s 20th anniversary dates are scheduled for December 7 to December 14 with all activities taking place at Baha Mar and venues around Nassau.
