The 1st International Animated Short Film Festival “AJAYU” seeks to be the beginning of a series of activities related to animation filming in the South of Peru that will take place in the future as a response to the lack of proposal in this area despite the fact that there is a vast quantity of artistic talent that could be exploited.

AJAYU attempts to be a window that permits the world of animation to be seen, and looks for this artistic expression to regain the importance it should have, through the cultural interchange expressed in the animation works. The organizers of this event cordially invite every audiovisual artist from all around the world to participate in the 1st International Animated Short Film Festival “AJAYU”. which will be held in the City of Puno.
