The Los Angeles Post Production Group is pleased to announce the 1st Annual L.A. Post Fest. This is a unique editing competition that will challenge entrants to use their post production skills, their creative vision and their storytelling abilities.

Each entrant will receive footage from the short sci-fi film "Protocol", which was shot on 4K with the URSA camera on a green-screen stage, as well as music from Sony Creative Software and images from the European Southern Observatory. They will be offered Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 12 if they would like or they can use any system of their choice to create the best version of this film.

Our esteemed panel of industry judges will choose the 5 winning films to be mastered and sound mixed in 5.1 and screened at our Festival in May 2016 in Los Angeles. These films will also receive approximately $20,000 worth of prizes.
