Dear Film School Director and Student Filmmakers:
We are pleased to announce that the submittal period for
the 2013 Fallbrook International Film Festival (FIFF) has begun. FIFF accepts quality
films of all types: Narrative Features and Shorts, Documentary Features and
Shorts, and Animation. And we have expanded our awards for the following
categories: Best Dramas, Best Comedies, Best Acton, Best Musical, Best
Documentaries, Best Animation, Best Student Film, Judges Choi...
IFFBoston 2011 began, as has become custom, with a Theremin player on stage in front of a boisterously filling auditorium in the Somerville Theater. This time, there was just that little extra hint of nervous energy, coming from the uncharacteristic attendance of the littlest members of the crowd. This Opening Night crowd included more children than most. The kids are here to see, and anxiously anticipating the arrival of, their favorite Muppet, Elmo.
