The 21st Flickerfest International Short Film Festival has announced its Australian program with 45 short films chosen from over 2,200 entries. Five WA films made the official selection in what looks to be a stellar line up of talent on display from the State. Congratulations to the films, George Jones and the Giant Squid, Crosshairs, Good Pretender,Transmission and Bush Basher. Zeke is an eighteen year old Sudanese refugee living with his parents and younger brother in a small housing commission flat. He has lost one of his younger brothers to the fighting which engulfed his country and his whole family struggles with their loss as well as their new life. Zeke feels like his violent past is determining his future but finds hope for the future through the power of music.
