The well-attended, first ever Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam has put Willemstad well and truly on the map in terms of film watching and film making. The flourishing Jameson CineFest will celebrate its 8th edition in September 2011, housing in a new cultural complex House of Arts. Each year, after a careful pre-selection, the top 15-20 features and 40-50 shorts, documentaries and animation films have the opportunity to compete in the official program.
