NIFFF 2017 : ANNONCE DE LA PROGRAMMATION OFFICIELLE
Le Festival International du Film Fantastique de Neuchâtel (30 juin – 8 juillet 2017) annonce la sélection officielle de sa 17e édition, un panorama éclectique des tendances actuelles en matière de production fantastique mondiale. Cette année, le Japon sera à l’honneur avec la présence de Miike Takashi qui dévoilera en première mondiale le film-événement JoJo's Bizarre Adventure : Diamond Is Unbreakable, mais aussi avec l’hommage dédié au grand maître Suzuki Seijun à travers une rétrospective composée de dix chefs-d’œuvre à la fois sublimes et sulfureux. En tant que tremplin de la relève du cinéma de genre helvétique, le NIFFF se réjouit de faire découvrir une création suisse foisonnante. Autre élément significatif 2017 : la pérennisation du label NIFFF EXTENDED qui positionne le fantastique comme véritable terreau de réflexion et d’innovation pluridisciplinaire.

La 17e édition du NIFFF en quelques chiffres
Avec un budget total de CHF 2'055'000.-, le NIFFF 2017 c’est 9 jours de projections, 5 salles dont 1 open air et une capacité simultanée maximale de 2’140 places. Les 151 projections publiques présenteront 94 longs métrages et 59 courts métrages produits par 43 pays différents avec 10 premières mondiales, 7 premières internationales, 3 premières européennes et 53 premières suisses. 75 conférences et rencontres publiques seront également proposées.
