Short Film Festival "DISTANCES" is an international festival event that started in 2009 and takes place every June in the Polish House, the seat of the Polish Social and Cultural Association, at 20 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. The project is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.

The Festival's Mission: Although the festival's name "DISTANCES" indicates quite the opposite, the festival's mission is to bridge distances among film-makers from all over the world, especially up-and-coming artists, connect them worldwide, and allow them to network through the competition part.

This year's 10th edition of "DISTANCES" will take place on 16th June 2018.

The submissions are open now, the dealine is 30th April 2018. All the submissions are free of charge and the best shorts will be awarded wonderful prizes.
