The Maui Film Festival takes place each June in Maui, Hawaii. The Festival is known worldwide for the quality of each year's film program, world-class culinary arts celebrations and the savvy and eclectic list of luminaries it has honored since its inaugural year in 2000.

Above and beyond these attributes, the Festival features a one-of-a-kind, under the stars, lit by the moon and (literally) powered by the sun Celestial Cinema, Seaside Cinema and Toes-in-the-Sand Cinema, as well as the state-of-the-art Castle Theater, 'Maui's Movie Palace' at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
