19th Annual Film Festival - Sept. 21-23, 2018
Port Townsend, 60 miles north of Seattle, is a favorite resort destination town. We're a well educated, articulate bunch and we've loved and supported independent film for 18 years. We're at the end of a stunning peninsula that juts into Puget Sound, adjacent to Olympic National Park and we're surrounded by some of the highest mountain peaks in the United States. Our three-day film festival is in our completely walkable National Historic District on the waterfront.
"If you had told me that there was a movie-crazy town on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula, I wouldn’t have believed you. But somehow Port Townsend is a real movie mecca. As a filmmaker, I can’t think of a place more energized around the idea of film. PTFF is the driving engine of a community of people who love movies. What the Festival has created is a treasure, to be re-discovered every year.” Morgan Neville, Academy Award Winning Director, 20 Feet from Stardom, PTFF Special Guest 2017
