BFMAF 2017 features world premieres from Hardeep Pandhal, Charlotte Prodger, Margaret Salmon and Kerstin Schroedinger, the first UK retrospective of Ali Khamraev, a profile of artist Peggy Ahwesh, the Berwick New Cinema Competition, Ultramarine: The Sea as Political Space including Kamal Aljafari, Forensic Architecture, Jean-Luc Godard, and Emilija Škarnulytė, and a new restoration of George Romero's 1973 film The Crazies.
