About The FVPS Annual Symposium
FVPS hosts an Annual Video Poetry Symposium presenting film screenings, workshops, special guests, and panels for a several days. In conjunction with the film screenings, programmers curate and present a 30 day exhibit comprised of media installations and video art created through the scope of poetry. The Symposium's inaugural year oversaw 80 international films and videos within 4 notable Los Angeles venues and a spectacular month long gallery exhibition. in 2019, FVPS presented selections internationally, screening 30 films, 10 workshops, and 2 live performances in Los Angeles, Ca. Moscow, Russia and New York City. Simultaneously, The Los Angeles Center for Digital Art was again the home to our 2nd gallery exhibition.
