MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Experimental Film Channel's mission is to promote and screen the very best and brightest in the world of Experimental Film.

We accept submissions originating in the United States as well as internationally.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Denver International Experimental Film Festival has been operating on and off since 1992. Originally conceived just prior to graduating from The University of Colorado's Film Program in 1994; The D.I.E. Film Festival has it's roots in the deep experimental tradition that is Colorado.

From Denver to Boulder; The Denver International Experimental Film Festival has existed in various manifestations throughout the Front Range.

From adventurous micro cinemas and art galleries to back yard house parties; The Denver International Experimental Film Festival has promoted and screened Experimental Film for over 25 years.

Most notably existing at The 1896 Fine Art Film Gallery located as a brick-and-mortar structure from 2001 to 2004.

And again at The Crossroads Theater in Denver, CO in 2009.

CATEGORIES

Experimental Narrative Feature
This is an Experimental Feature category designed to be viewed as a coherent, narrative whole. most submissions are 1 hour or more in length. Typically entries rarely run past 2 hours.

Experimental Short
The Experimental Short Category encompasses any film that thas a running time falling between 1 second and 59 minutes.

$7.00 per entry. Regardless of running time, category, or genre.

Student Film Rate
This give the verified student the opportunity to submit films to The Denver International Experimental Film Channel at a discounted, student rate.

GENERAL RULES
All entries must be copies of the original work.

Submissions: I will accept a digital version but ultimately I need the ability to edit the entry into a longer digital reel.

This gives The Denver International Experimental Film Festival the ability to screen at the hosting venue, theater, or pub.
