BIFEST-Bari International Film Festival is an annual event in Bari (Italy) with international feature films in Italian première (in and out of competition),  and Italian feature films in competition with film critics and audience juries. Each year the Federico Fellini Platinum Award for Cinematic Excellence is awarded to great personalities of international cinema. There are also workshops, master classes, retrospectives, tributes.

The Festival is promoted by Apuglia Region - Mediterranean, Culture and Tourism Department, produced by Apulia Film Commission. President is Margarethe von Trotta, artistic director is Felice Laudadio. Ettore Scola is honorary president.

Bif&st 2018 entry form is now available for submissions to the competitive section International Panorama, reserved to new feature films (over 70 minutes), fiction only, produced in 2017-18, absolute Italian premières at the date of the festival.

No documentaries nor short films will be accepted.
