The festival shows feature films, documentaries, shorts, animations, new media and experimental films. Nine recently produced films (unreleased in France) compete for the Prix Sauvage – a statuette of a dancing wolf and money award, given by the jury composed of the eminent European film artists and professionals (Krzysztof Zanussi, Pierre-Henri Deleau, Bob Swaim, Jean Douchet, Jean-François Lepetit ...) for the best film as a work of art. With the ambition to stimulate the renewal of the European film production and emerging European talents, the Festival places professional encounters in the heart of its politics. In addition to screenings, it presents master classes and panel discussions with filmmakers and prestigious guests from throughout Europe: Henning Carlsen, Neil Jordan, Jonas Mekas, Marta Meszaroz, Kira Muratova, Stephen Rea, Pierre Rissient, Sergey Selyanov, Jim Sheridan, Jos Stelling, Istvan Szabo, Jan Troell, Agnès Varda were among the guests.
11th edition will take place from March 16 to April 17, 2016.
