VDFE: New board / new management / new office in the capital
The Association of German Film Exporters voted Jochem Strate and Michael Weber at its annual assembly as the new board members. The lawyer Edith Forster was appointed as the new managing director and will succeed Lothar Wedel who is retiring on 30 April 2010 after 25 years' service. In addition, the Association will now also have an office in Berlin alongside the one in Munich.
The VDFE (Association of German Film Exporters) is one of the three shareholders who founded German Films (then Export-Union des deutschen Films) in 1954.
