DOCUMENTA MADRID 10. Call for entries

We have opened the inscription for Documenta Madrid 10. In our website www.documentamadrid.com you can know the complete Regulations of the Seventh Edition of the Festival, and make the registration on line of your documentary for Documenta 2010.
The registration deadline for films is December 31, 2009.
DOCUMENTA MADRID 10 will have four competitive sections:
ORIGINAL DOCUMENTARY FILM COMPETITION
All films previously unreleased in Spain featuring an original or innovative perspective in terms of either form or content will be admitted for competition. This section has two categories: Full-length films (for films exceeding 45 minutes in length) and Short films (films up to 45 minutes in length that do not make up part of a series).
DOCUMENTARY FILM CONTEST
This section is intended for those documentary films previously unreleased in Spain (with the exception of the Muestra de Cortometrajes de Madrid) whose point of view is of a narrative or informative nature, or is of social interest regarding current events in our world. Documentaries of any length may be admitted to competition.
NATIONAL COMPETITION
For films previously unreleased in Spain whose production is entirely or mostly of Spanish nationality. This section has two categories: Full-length films (for films exceeding 45 minutes in length) and Short films (films up to 45 minutes in length that do not make up part of a series).
FILMOTECH.COM
For films selected in the three previously mentioned sections that are included in the website for legally viewing films online, filmotech.com. The conditions are to be announced upon completion of the selection process. These films, the copyright holder of which voluntarily decides to post them on filmotech.com to have them viewed legally online, will compete for the Filmotech.com award.

FIRST PRIZE OF THE JURY, to be awarded 10,000 € and a trophy.
SECOND PRIZE OF THE JURY, to be awarded 5,000 € and a trophy.
HONORABLE MENTION OF THE JURY, to be awarded a diploma.
AUDIENCE AWARD, to be awarded 3.000 €, a diploma and the possibility for automatic distribution in Spain as part of “The documentary of the Month” initiative.
SHORT FILMS
FIRST PRIZE OF THE JURY, to be awarded 5,000 € and a trophy.
SECOND PRIZE OF THE JURY, to be awarded 3,000 € and a trophy.
HONORABLE MENTION OF THE JURY, to be awarded a diploma.
AUDIENCE AWARD, to be awarded 3.000 € and a diploma.
