New press team at 17th Filmfest Hamburg

As of 2nd June 2009, Silke Cecilia Schultz will take over the direction of the communications and press department at Filmfest Hamburg.

The office will be occupied as of 2nd June 2009 on weekdays between 10am and 6pm.

 

Silke Cecilia Schultz works as a freelance scriptwriter in Hamburg. She accompanies prospective scriptwriters as a teacher at Filmschule Hamburg-Berlin where she  teaches dramaturgy and film genres. She previously worked as press officer and head of the press association EXPO 2000 Hannover GmbH and was an employee of the  Referat Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (lit: department of public relations) at the German Bundestag under the direction of Frau Prof. Dr. Süssmuth.



As of 1st July 2009 she will be assisted by Alrun Seifert. Alrun Seifert is graduating in media sciences in Berlin. She has previously worked as assistant press officer at Filmfest Hamburg and has contributed to the press work of the international student film festival sehsüchte in Potsdam.
