About Witold Gombrowicz work.

Terms and Conditions
Nowadays
the short film, as a medium of expression, has gained a lot of
importance and has even separated itself from the full-length film
festivals, because it has its own strength.
The
Gombrowiczida festival invites everyone working with film or that is
interested in producing experimental visual pieces that have the writer
Witold Gombrowicz as an inspiration, being able to enter the contest
artists of any age and place of residence.
Works must be delivered in a ready to watch DVD.
This
contest has the purpose of giving difussion, to the works of visual
creators and their experimental short film production in a free way
with previous acceptance from their authors and with no profit motive
in mind.
1)The
theme of this first call is Witold Gombrowicz and his work, his critics
about art reception, the world of shapes and infantility in adulthood
2) Works can be presented until JUNE 30th 2009.
Requirements for the delivery of visual material:
an envelope with a CD, a DVD and a letter.
In the CD:
The contestants must present a synopse of the work, that includes the following:
theoretical arguments,
synopsis of the presented work,
biography,
resume and digital photography of the author.
Works must be saved in DVD in .AVI format.
It will be possible to present three works maximum, of the desired length.
And in the letter:
Paper
signed by the author stating the acceptance of the terms and giving
explicit permit for the free distribution of their work(s) through the
Internet
3)In an optional manner, the creators can attach, if they wish, previous work in a separate DVD.

The material that is sent will not be returned and those who do not
comply with the aforementioned documentation will not be able to enter
the contest.
6)
The curatorship of the visual material will be made by the organisers
of this contest in the month of JUNE. It is planned to show all short
films received.

7)The festival will last one day long, depending on the quantity of short films received.
It will be held Thursday july 24th 2009 at Buenos Aires city space.
8) Everyone will be notified by e-mail in the second week of March. Anyway the idea is to show all films.
9)
All information that is not provided in the present call will be
resolved by the organisers. It is of importance to say that this call
has no profit motive in mind. For any question please write to the

La exhibicion sera el 24 de Julio 2009 en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
En homenaje a 40 años de la muerte del escritor polaco Witold Gombrowicz.
BASES
Hoy
en día el corto, como medio de expresión, ha tomado una gran fuerza e
incluso se ha separado de los festivales de largos, gracias a que se
puede sustentar por sí mismo.
El
festival WITOLDFEST invita a todos las personas que trabajen con cine o
que estén interesadas en producir piezas visuales experimentales, que
tengan como inspiracion al escritor Witold Gombrowicz, pudiendo concursar artistas de cualquier edad y lugar de residencia.
Las obras deben entregarse listas para ver, en un DVD.
Esta
convocatoria tiene como propósito difundir el trabajo de creadores
visuales y su producción de cortos experimentales de manera gratuita
con previa aceptación de sus autores y sin lucro comercial, creaciones
con registros provenientes de todo tipo de plataformas.
1)La temática de esta primer convocatoria es Witold Gombrowicz y su obra.
Los trabajos pueden tratar sobre cualquier tema que refiera a su obra; las criticas sobre La recepcion del arte, el mundo de la forma y lo infantil en la adultez. Estos son algunos de los temas que el trata en sus fabuloso libros.
2) El plazo para la presentación de las obras estará abierto hasta el 30 de Junio del 2009.
Requisitos para el envío de material visual:
Un sobre con un CD, un DVD y una carta.
En el CD:
Los participantes deberán presentar una memoria de la obra,
que incluya los siguientes apartados:
Argumentación teórica,
Sinopsis de la obra presentada,
Biografía,
CV y fotografía digital del autor.
Las obras deberán ser almacenadas en DVD en formato .AVI
Se podrá presentar un máximo de 3 piezas
con duración a gusto.
Y en la carta:
Papel firmado por el autor manifestando la aceptación
de las bases y permiso explícito para la distribución
libre de su/s obra/s a través de Internet.
3)De manera opcional, los creadores que así lo deseen,
pueden adjuntar trabajos anteriores en un DVD aparte.
4) Las obras podrán ser remitidas a la siguiente dirección:

El material enviado no será devuelto y quienes no cumplan con la
documentación antes mencionada no podrán participar de la convocatoria.
6)
La curaduría del material visual será realizada por los organizadores
de esta convocatoria en el mes de Julio. Se planea exponer todos los
cortos enviados.
7)El festival durara un dia,
dependiendo de la cantidad de cortos enviado,
sera el 24 de Julio en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
8) Todos serán notificados por correo electrónico.
En la primer semana de Julio
Igualmente la idea es exponer todos.
9)
La información no prevista en la presente convocatoria será resuelta
por los organizadores.Es sustancial mencionar que la convocatoria es
