Cinepanorama in Hong Kong, the 2008 Jakarta International Film
Festival, the 2008 French Cinema Today Festival in Russia, and the 2008
Dubai International Film Festival.

Funding support for commercial release

Unifrance supported the release of 10 films in international territories by covering travel expenses for 16 French artists:

Laurent Cantet for the release of Entre les murs (The Class) in Germany

Jérôme Salle and Tomer Sisley for the release of Largo Winch in Belgium and Switzerland

Jean-Claude Van Damme for the release of JCVD in Japan

Olivier Assayas for the release of L’Heure d’été (Summer Hours) in Austria

Vincent Garenq, Pilar Lopez de Ayala, and Pascal Elbé for the release of Comme les autres in Spain and Italy

Francis Veber for the release of L’Emmerdeur (A Pain in the Ass) in Belgium and Switzerland

Francis Huster and Hafsia Herzi for the release of Un homme et son chien in Belgium

Yolande Moreau for the release of Louise Michel in Belgium

Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine for the release of Louise Michel in Switzerland
