New site to celebrate 60 years of cannes festivities

Cannes and INA partnered to launch a new website illustrating 60 years of Cannes festivities with sound and video archives

In all, the site contains 300 hours of footage packaged in 1,500 excerpts dating back to the festival's first edition in 1946.

Most of it was recorded by France's public broadcaster but footage since 1993 mostly comes courtesy of Canal Plus, now exclusive broadcaster of official events during the festival.
