Everybody wants to F*ck Me Review - TIFF Premiere

On Friday 9/11, Jonathan Schey premiered his feature directorial debut "Everybody Wants to F*ck Me" starring Taron Egerton. In this horror romcom, the satire shines bright and forces the audience to generate a view point on the performative men in their lives. Taron's performances is the highlight of the film as he builds a scarily accurate persona that the audience recognizes as that one annoying friend who tries too hard to be a "nice guy". Everybody Wants to F*ck Me" tries a little too hard to be like other films in it's genre, namely Obsession and it's "social thriller" aspects, but it does a great job in capturing the essence of it's characters and building a world that feels fun for most of it's runtime without getting bogged down.
