Series, short films, documentaries and fiction films: if there’s one thing Day 9 of #Venezia83 has reminded us, it’s that at the #BiennaleCinema, you can move from one screening room to the next and find something completely different every time. This is a place where genres, formats and perspectives meet, collide and constantly cross-pollinate – where one screening can transport you to the other side of the world, and just around the corner, another story is already waiting to be discovered. From real life to the most intimate reflections, from raw, unflinching truth to the limitless landscapes of the imagination, the ninth day of the Festival took us on a journey through different worlds, stories and visions, surprising us at every turn.
