CEE Animation Delegation and Activities at MIFA Annecy 2026

As in previous years, CEE Animation is proud to lead a delegation of film professionals to Annecy MIFA 2026, hosted at the Creative Europe MEDIA stand. 

The delegation includes a dynamic group of producers actively seeking co-production opportunities and offering a wide array of professional services, supported by a diverse pool of talent from the region. Representatives of national film funds and industry associations are also present, ready to engage with international partners and foster new collaborations.

CEE ANIMATED FILMS AT ANNECY FESTIVAL

 

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026 once again features a strong presence of Central and Eastern European titles in its Official Selection. Among this year’s highlights are the short film Cosmonauts, developed within CEE Animation’s Rise & Shine programme and presented at the CEE Animation Forum 2024, and Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe!, a project developed through the CEE Animation Workshop. Both short films premiered at the Berlinale 2026.

Call for Applications: EU-JAPAN Animation Business Workshop 2026. Deadline: June 15

The applications are open to proactive producers from EU Member States of the Central and Eastern European region with a proven track record in producing animated shorts or feature films and a strong, demonstrated interest in co-producing with Japan.
