Kicking off its second year this April, Napa Valley StreamFest is the answer to a rapidly changing media landscape. Instead of racing between theaters, StreamFest is a curated, variety show experience which blends everything from indie films to viral TikToks and podcasts into one weekend binge.
Emmy, Golden Globe, and PGA Award-winning actress, producer, and director Mariska Hargitay will receive the festival’s annual Icon Award. The schedule also will present awards to Property Brother Jonathan Scott, who will receive the festival’s Social Impact Award and Becky Robinson (‘Entitled Housewife’) who will receive the Make’m Laugh Award. Thora Birch (‘The Chronology of Water’), Adam Rose (Actor/Director), and Luke Tennie (‘Shrinking,’ ‘The Pitt’) will also be celebrated at the festival’s Breakthrough Artist Panel and Awards.
Emmy Award-winning creator Bill Lawrence, known for his era-defining work on “Shrinking,” “Ted Lasso,” “Scrubs,” and his latest series “Rooster.” Lawrence will participate in a featured session where he will sit down with Scott Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter for a live recording of the acclaimed Awards Chatter podcast. This deep-dive conversation will explore Lawrence’s expansive career and his significant contributions to the evolving landscape of streaming comedy.
The festival will also celebrate the careers of Christa Miller and Ted McGinley by presenting them with the Vanguard Award. Miller and McGinley, who currently star together in the hit series “Shrinking” on Apple TV, are being recognized for their versatility and enduring impact across decades of television history. SiriusXM host Julia Cunningham also joins the 2026 programming to serve as the official moderator for the Vanguard Award, bringing her expert industry insight and expertise, as well as her trademark candor.
In further programming, this year’s StreamFest will host the world premiere of Warner Bros.’ ‘Casa Grande,’ an appearance from Heart’s Nancy Wilson for a screening of the documentary ‘If These Walls Could Rock.’ and the west coast premiere of new series ‘Too Romantic’ from Bachelor nation’s Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon.

ABOUT STREAMFEST:
A 501(c)3 Non-profit, Napa Valley StreamFest is the brainchild of Ashella Productions, founded by Juliana Folk and Fearon DeWeese. Juliana and Fearon first met while working at the Napa Valley Film Festival, bonding over their shared love for storytelling. In 2022, they launched Ashella Productions and produced the TV pilot ‘UnCredited,’ inspired by Fearon’s journey managing a film festival while navigating IVF and motherhood.
Taking their pilot on the festival circuit, they realized traditional festivals weren’t adapting to the rise of “streamertainment” and the new ways audiences consume content. Determined to revolutionize the festival model, they returned to Napa Valley, and enlisted festival veteran Michael Fox as board chair. Now entering its second year, they have successfully turned that vision into reality: a festival as dynamic and adaptive as the content it celebrates. Through its nonprofit arm, StreamFest Society, the festival supports mid-career creatives 35+ with mentorship, networking, and year-round programming.
