Up first - Our new website! Just in time for our 10th Anniversary Edition, we have redesigned the site so as to deliver a smoother user friendly interface on both desktop and mobile. While we'll be tweaking the site and adding new sections throughout the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime please visit and let us know what you think! Festival of Cinema NYC is thrilled to invite you to participate in our Poster Design Competition for the 10th anniversary Festival of Cinema NYC in 2026! This is your chance to have your artwork featured as the official festival poster, showcased on our social media, red carpet, and at all event venues throughout Forest Hills, Queens. As the face of the 2026 festival your design will be prominently displayed on our Pole Banners throughout the streets of Forest Hills, as well as on Bus Stops and Bus Shelters throughout the borough! Your image may even show up on the NYC Subway!
We want to see original designs from artists and non-artists of all ages and from all over the world!
In addition to the honor of being selected as the face of the festival, the winner will receive a beautifully framed poster of their design, an all-access pass to festival events, and an exclusive festival swag bag. In addition, the top 10 entries will have their poster design displayed at the Filmmaker Lounge throughout the 10-day festival from August 7 - 16.
