The Festival des 3 Continents unveils the 2025 poster

47th EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL DES 3 CONTINENTS 2025 POSTER “ALL ABOUT LOVE”

For its 47th edition, the Festival des 3 Continents offers a journey through love in all its forms – romantic, filial, familial, friendly. A cinematic invitation to explore the complexity of love.

‘All about love’ will be the theme of this edition.

The 2025 poster was designed by Nantes-based graphic designer Alice Hameau. It features a pair of images from films programmed this year, which mirror each other, reversing the images of two couples without any hierarchy.

The two versions will coexist in Nantes' public spaces, showcasing each image in turn.

This visual dialogue embodies the plurality of forms of love evoked by the programme and the breaking down of barriers without borders that is the very spirit of the Festival des 3 Continents.

The two films featured on the poster

Ang Lee's The Wedding Banquet (1993) and Saim Sadiq's Joyland (2022): two sensitive stories about the complexity of relationships and the quest for sincere love in societies governed by rigid norms.

The main features of the programme will be unveiled on 9 October 2025.

On 30 October 2025, the official selection will be revealed and online ticket sales will open.
