The Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival uses the power of film to entertain, inspire and inform about challenges facing our planet, along with films celebrating the profound beautry of the earth. The Festival showcases exceptional new films covering a wide range of styles and a broad spectrum of timely environmental issues.
Over the course of a long weekend every April, we showcase powerful new features and shorts on the largest screen in Philadelphia on the Avenue of the Arts. The Festival also hosts as Opening Night Red Carpet Reception, a juried competition with awards, moderated discussions with filmmakers and policy experts, a student film competiton, and other special events.
